With a Master degree in Marketing and a Master II in Communication from a French business school, Martin started is professional career in the sports industry.  With Salomon first where he’s work in product management for footwear trail running, then at Adidas still in product management for Beijing Olympics in Cycling and Triathlon, and finally Scott Sports as Running Communication assistant. He’s spent 5 years as an entrepreneur creating two digital startups still related to sports. He came back to Scott Sports headquarters in Switzerland, as Running Communication and sports marketing manager in early 2015.
When not in the office or at events, you’ll find Martin in the mountains, doing what he loves most : Trail and alpine running.

In a competitive outdoor sports market, sports marketing remains an efficient tool to promote one’s brand. Traditional approaches tend to seek well established events with big numbers (participants, public) that both brands and venues value as direct ROI. Based on Scott sponsored events, we will explore the opportunities offered by smaller, core and image driven events and how pulling the right levers can offer successful long lasting results for all stakeholders involved.
